The SPCA in Annapolis is looking for an outgoing energetic organizer. Must be able to recruit and motivate volunteers and have experience planning major fundraising events. Full time position (Tuesday through Saturday) will include some evenings and Sundays. Bachelor's degree plus experience required. We are looking for an Animal Caretaker to work Sundays and Mondays from 8 am to 4:30 p.m. Please fill out an application at the shelter. No phone calls.

The 2009 Walk for the Animals was a great success. We want to thank everyone who donated, especially in these difficult economic times.

We raised $225,000 for the homeless animals. Over 2,000 walkers and 650 dogs particpated on a beautiful April morning. We look forward to seeing everyone next year.

Adopt two cats and pay only ONE adoption fee!

All kittens and cats have received initial vaccinations, have been spayed and neutered, and are microchipped. They must be adopted the same day to the same household to approved applicants.
